Spas: A Nice Touch at Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa

The Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa has unveiled its Vidhun Spa (maldives.hadahaa.park.hyatt.com), a compound of five villas and verdant gardens accessed via winding pathways. The hallmark here is Dhivehibey, an obscure Maldivian healing tradition that incorporates elements of Ayurvedic, Chinese, and Tibetan medicine. Try the Fini Evvaru ritual, a detoxifying two-hour treatment involving a spice scrub, clay wrap, and a cinnamon-and-nutmeg-oil massage redolent of the islands’ bygone role as a crossroads of the spice trade. –David Tse
