The views from the world’s only underwater spa and nightclub—located, respectively, at sister resorts Huvafen Fushi and Niyama in the Maldives—will be even more fantastic come March, when a series of photo montages by Austrian artist Andreas Franke is submerged in the properties’ lagoons. Titled Phantasy Fairytale, the underwater exhibition will comprise Plexiglas-sealed images of fairytale characters (think Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood) wandering through a dream world of coral gardens. Guests who admire the haunting, surreal works will have the chance to buy them when they come up for air at the end of May; prices are likely to be steep, but with proceeds earmarked for the resorts’ coral regeneration program, it’ll be money well spent. –Christi Hang
