Throughout June, the annual London Festival of Architecture once again casts its gaze across the ever-changing skyline of the British capital. This year’s edition will feature more than 150 citywide events and installations including a public debate titled “Does London Need More Tall Towers?” and a showcase of émigré architects. The centerpiece of the proceedings is the Rainforest pavilion in Bedford Square, designed by Chilean German architecture firm GUN. Fabric stalactites drip water into a field of treelike structures—one of the festival’s many insights into the influence of structure on site. –Gabrielle Lipton
