Peninsula Tokyo
Part of the Peninsula group’s Academy program of unique insider experiences, the Sake Brewery Tour on offer at the Peninsula Tokyo takes you to Izumibashi Shuzo brewery in Ebina, 60 kilometers from the Japanese capital. Established in 1857, Izumibashi is one of only a handful of sake makers in the country to grow and mill its own rice, which means you can witness the full production cycle, from field to bottle. The six-hour tour also includes a tasting session and ends with a bento lunch and a bottle of sake to take home (from US$1,595 for two).
