A trio of new or revitalized golf courses in Southeast Asia is set to delight duffers and scratch golfers alike. Closed since 2012 for a complete overhaul and rebranding, the Bali National Golf Resort (formerly the Bali Golf & Country Club) has been returfed, rebunkered, and stretched to play over 7,200 meters. Over on Langkawi, Malaysia’s newest par-72 championship course is the Ernie Els–designed Els Club Teluk Datai. Overlooked by limestone peaks, it boasts five seafront holes and a bunkerless layout that meanders through an ancient rain forest. Billing itself at the Philippines’ first “truly world-class” course, Anvaya Cove Golf & Sports Club runs beside the West Philippine Sea, with sweeping views across SubicBay. Hole 13 is a standout, with a peninsular green set 30 meters above the ocean. –Christi Hang
