Mandarin Oriental Pudong opened its doors on April 25, and is the group’s second hotel in China, joining the Guangzhou property. The opening was also marked by the official unveiling of the hotel’s art collection curated by the Art Front Gallery and featuring 4,000 original artworks which will be displayed in the hotel’s public spaces and guest rooms. The hotel houses 362 rooms, including 44 suites, and 210 fully serviced executive apartments including the most expensive Presidential Suite in Shanghai.
